Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all educational assessment services provided by STUCKHUB, operated by Jo Packard, an independent educational assessor based in Hammer, West Sussex. By booking or using STUCKHUB's services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About STUCKHUB
STUCKHUB provides independent educational assessments designed to identify barriers to learning and provide practical recommendations for home and school.
STUCKHUB does not provide medical, psychological or clinical diagnoses and is not a regulated healthcare service.
2. Booking an Assessment
Assessment enquiries can be made through the STUCKHUB website or by direct contact.
Submitting an enquiry does not automatically secure an assessment.
Each enquiry is personally reviewed to ensure the assessment is appropriate for the child's needs.
3. Preparing for the Assessment
To ensure the assessment is accurate and personalised:

Family and School Questionnaires must be completed before the assessment.

Relevant educational reports or SEND documentation should be shared where available.

Parents and schools are expected to provide information honestly and accurately.
4. The Assessment
Every assessment is personally carried out by Jo Packard.
Assessments are tailored to the individual child and may vary according to their age, educational history and presenting needs.
The assessment is educational in nature and is intended to identify learning strengths, barriers and priorities for teaching.
5. Assessment Reports
Following the assessment you will normally receive, within 14 days:

an independent educational assessment report;
-
a personalised Learning Roadmap;
-
practical recommendations for home and school where appropriate.
Reports represent Jo Packard's independent professional educational opinion based on the information available at the time of assessment.
6. Payment
Assessment fees must be paid in full by bank transfer before an assessment appointment is confirmed.
Appointments cannot be guaranteed until payment has been received.
STUCKHUB does not store bank card or online payment details.
7. Cancellations and Rearranging Appointments
If you need to rearrange an appointment, please provide as much notice as possible.
Appointments cancelled with more than 48 hours' notice will normally be rearranged without charge.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a charge unless exceptional circumstances apply.
Once an assessment has taken place, fees are non-refundable.
If STUCKHUB needs to rearrange an appointment because of illness or unforeseen circumstances, an alternative appointment or full refund will be offered.
8. Educational Evidence
Assessment reports are intended to support educational understanding, planning and decision-making.
They may be used by parents, carers, schools, SENCOs and Local Authorities where appropriate.
However, STUCKHUB cannot guarantee that recommendations will be adopted by schools or other organisations.
9. Copyright
Copyright of all written assessment reports remains with STUCKHUB.
Reports are supplied for the educational use of the child, their family and professionals involved in supporting them.
Reports must not be altered, reproduced in part or presented in a misleading way without written permission.
10. Confidentiality
All personal information is handled in accordance with the STUCKHUB Privacy Policy.
Information will only be shared:

with parents or carers;
-
with schools or SENCOs where permission has been given; or
-
where disclosure is required by law.
11. Professional Responsibility
Every assessment is completed with reasonable skill, care and professional judgement.
STUCKHUB provides independent educational assessments. Assessment findings should not be interpreted as medical, psychological or clinical diagnoses.
Decisions regarding statutory assessment, EHCP provision, school placement and funding remain the responsibility of schools, Local Authorities and the relevant statutory services.
12. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service provided, please contact STUCKHUB as soon as possible.
Every effort will be made to resolve concerns promptly, fairly and professionally.
