The Assessment Process
Our structured approach ensures comprehensive evaluation and actionable results within 14 days.
01
The Strategic Consultation
An initial call to outline specific academic concerns, review historical barriers and determine if a PNA is the right path for the learner.
We identify why a parent or SENCO feesl a child is "stuck" even before the assessment even begins.
02
Stakeholder Questionnaires
We capture a 360° holistic view of the learner by gathering structured data from home and school. This aligns with the SEND Code of Practice requirement for "Parent and Pupil Voice."
-
Family/Carer Profile: A developmental and home-based questionnaire capturing the child’s lived experience.
-
School Profile: A teacher questionnaire documenting academic attainment and the impact of current interventions.
Note: Contribution from both home and school is required to ensure a robust, defensible evidence base prior to the assessment.
03
The 2-Hour Investigation
A specialist, one-to-one investigation into the root causes of learning barriers. Unlike a computerised screening, this is a deep-dive holistic, independant and academic evaluation covering:
-
Core Attainment: Foundational Literacy and Numeracy.
-
Cognitive Processing: Memory, sequencing, and processing speed.
-
Functional Learning Dynamics: Focus, motor control and endurance.
04
The Roadmap Delivery (14-Day Turnaround)
Within 14 days post assessment, you will receive the Primary Needs Assessment Report. This is not a static document; it is an actionable evidence base - a source document.
-
The Precision Report: A specialist breakdown of findings for professionals and panels.
-
The Actionable Roadmap: A 4-page working document containing specific, measurable micro-targets and specialist suggestions for immediate implementation by schools or speciailist teachers/TAs.
