Helping Children Get UNSTUCK.
Finding the right support for your child can feel overwhelming. Every child is unique, and understanding why learning has become difficult is the first step towards helping them move forward.
I created STUCKHUB after more than 30 years in primary education, specialist SEND teaching, school leadership and my own experience as a parent navigating the system.
My primary teaching experience and specialist SEND training taught me that effective classroom intervention begins with a thorough, whole-child educational assessment. Understanding a child's individual learning profile allows support to become targeted, achievable, purposeful and effective. That belief inspired me to design and develop the Primary Needs Assessment, providing schools and families with the evidence, clarity and practical guidance they need.
I've seen the challenges from every side—families waiting for answers, schools balancing limited time, resources and budgets, and children losing confidence while they wait.
My mission is simple: to cut through delays and red tape, giving children the immediate, practical learning targets they need today.
No child should be left behind, and no child should have to stay STUCK.
"Every child is unique, so every assessment and its results are unique."

The Educator
-
More than 30 years teaching across primary education has given me a deep understanding of how children learn -and why they become stuck.
-
My experience spans KS1, KS2, school leadership and curriculum development, giving me a whole-school perspective on children's learning.
-
I understand the realities schools face, every recommendation is relevant, practical, achievable and designed to work in real classrooms.
The Specialist
-
The Primary Needs Assessment combines specialist SEND expertise with decades of everyday classroom experience.
-
I look beyond labels to identify the missed learning that is preventing progress.
-
Every assessment provides the clear educational evidence and guidance that schools and families can act upon immediately.
The Parent
-
Like many families, I've experienced the uncertainty of navigating the system alone to find the right support for my own child since nursery.
-
That experience has shaped the way I assess children - with empathy, patience and understanding.
-
I understand how important clear answers are when everyone simply wants a child to move forward with confidence.
Schools & Communities I've Supported:
Every child deserves access to high-quality specialist educational assessment. Over the years, I've been privileged to support schools and families across West Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey and beyond.
I am proud to work across a truly diverse range of settings, ensuring that every assessment is built around the same goal: providing clear educational guidance that helps children move forward.

The Evolution of STUCKHUB " Since 2016, my work has evolved from Learn Out of the Box to focus exclusively on the Primary Needs Assessment (PNA). I realised that while many can provide weekly tuition, there was a missing link: a specialist who provides the robust evidence needed to change a child’s entire school week and often learning journey. I chose to be that solution - providing the answers and targets that ensure no child has to stay STUCK. " Jo Packard 2025
