I founded STUCKHUB to champion children by bridging the gap between professional expertise and personal experience. Drawing on 30+ years as a primary teacher, school leader and SEND specialist - combined with the hard-won insight of a parent who has navigated this system alone - I offer a unique dual perspective.

Actionable IEPs: I translate assessment findings into practical Individual Education Plans (IEPs) with small-step targets that teachers can actually use in class.

Classroom Shadowing: I have experience of in-class observations to see how a child interacts with their environment, ensuring my recommendations are realistic for a busy classroom.

Creativity as a Tool: As a former Art Co-ordinator, I use visual strategies to engage children who find traditional "paper and pen" assessments daunting or restrictive.

Visual Strategy: My background in freelance graphic design allows me to map information visually, translating complex barriers into clear roadmaps for children who think in pictures.

Confidence & Voice: Through writing and producing school performances, I’ve seen how "voice" transforms a child. I help pupils find theirs, building the self-belief needed to succeed.

Holistic Roots: From my years in teaching and private tuition, I’ve maintained a "boots-on-the-ground" connection with how children actually feel, supporting the whole local ecosystem.

The Evolution of STUCKHUB "Since 2016, my work has evolved from Learn Out of the Box to focus exclusively on the Primary Needs Assessment (PNA). I realized that while many can provide weekly tuition, there was a missing link: a specialist who provides the robust evidence needed to change a child’s entire school week. I chose to be that solution—providing the answers and the roadmap that ensure no child has to stay stuck."
