THE PROCESS

1. The Strategic Consultation

A focused intake call to outline specific academic concerns, review historical barriers and determine if a PNA is the right path for the learner.

We identify the "stuck" points before the assessment even begins.

2. Stakeholder Questionnaires

We capture a 360° view of the learner by gathering structured data from home and school. This aligns with the SEND Code of Practice requirement for "Parent and Pupil Voice."

  • Family/Carer Profile: A developmental and home-based questionnaire capturing the child’s lived experience.

  • School Profile: A specialist teacher questionnaire documenting academic attainment and the impact of current interventions.

Note: Contribution from both home and school is required to ensure a robust, defensible evidence base prior to the assessment.

3. The 2-Hour Investigation

A specialist, one-to-one investigation into the root causes of learning barriers. Unlike a computerized screening, this is a deep-dive holistic and academic evaluation covering:

  • Core Attainment: Literacy and Numeracy deep-dive.

  • Cognitive Processing: Memory, sequencing, and processing speed.

  • Functional Learning Dynamics: Focus, motor control and endurance.

4. The Roadmap Delivery (14-Day Turnaround)

Within 14 days, you receive the Primary Needs Assessment Report. This is not a static document; it is an actionable evidence base.

  • The Precision Report: A specialist breakdown of findings for professionals and panels.

  • The Actionable Roadmap: A 4 page working document containing specific, measurable teaching targets for immediate implementation by schools or tutors.
