Specialist Capacity for the Busy SENCo.
Supporting the New National Inclusion Standards
High-level specialist support should be neither a luxury nor unaffordable. I provide schools with robust, defensible SEND evidence at a transparent fixed fee, delivering Actionable Learning Profiles within 14 days to ensure your Element 2 funding is targeted for maximum impact.
My mission is to provide the specialist capacity you need to move beyond the "waiting game." I focus on those pupils who are currently "stuck" on your SEND register without a clear path forward. Rather than a pupil being a name on a list, I can provide the targeted clarity needed to inform your Graduated Response and get effective intervention moving immediately.
The STUCKHUB Solution:
The PNA
A specialist academic evaluation designed to inform teaching.
The PNA provides the 'Targeted' and 'Targeted Plus' evidence needed to justify a placement
in your school's Inclusion Base without waiting for a full EHCP.
The Primary Needs Assessment (PNA)
A targeted fixed fee £350 specialist assessment is designed to inform provision and justify funding. We provide the focused data you need to bypass waitlists and move past the "waiting for assessment" phase.
Why it matters:
Our 4-page working document provides immediate specialist teaching targets, allowing your team to start effective intervention the moment the Report is handed over, within 14-days.
Extending the Utility of Your Evidence
The PNA is not a "tick-box" screener or a psychometric IQ test and it isn't just a "supporting document" - it is a source document. We don’t measure a child’s "potential" or mental ability or make 'suggestions' - we investigate their actual academic barriers. By focusing on how a child learns, with or without a diagnosis, we provide the essential evidence needed to plan effective teaching and unlock school support.
Our assessments focus on immediate learning recovery. For children with more complex needs, the PNA provides the robust, specialist data required to inform the statutory process and support parental requests for an EHC Needs Assessment (EHCNA). The PNA report is designed to populate the "Educational" core of the EHCP document:
Section B
Special Educational NEEDS
(The "What")
This is the most critical section for ones input.
The PNA identifies the specific micro-gaps in cognition and learning. Instead of stating a child "struggles with literacy," you provide the quantified evidence of why (e.g., specific deficits in phonological memory or processing speed).
Section F
Special Educational PROVISION
(The "How")
This is where many applications fail for being "vague."
The PNA provides a detailed Instructional Roadmap, specifying the exact strategies and interventions required to bridge the identified gaps.
-
Instructional Strategies: Our report provides the "how we must teach them" part.
-
Quantified Support: Because we identify the micro-gaps, we can state exactly what intervention is needed.
-
Resource Requirements: If the child needs specific assistive technology or specialised tactile resources we've may have identified these needs during the assessment.
Section E:
OUTCOMES
(The "Why")
Local Authorities need to know what progress will look like.
Because the PNA identifies the exact point where learning has stalled, it provides the baseline data needed to set SMART, measurable outcomes that the Local Authority can track.
Please Note: While the PNA provides high-level evidence aligned with the SEND Code of Practice, the final decision regarding EHC Plans and the allocation of funding remains the sole responsibility of the Local Authority.
The 14-Day Advantage
Don’t let a pupil's progress stall while waiting for the system to catch up.
The System
Gap
Why wait 20 weeks? While the system stalls on 2-year waitlists or Local Authorities taking 6-weeks just to decide whether to assess, the learning gap for the pupil only continues to widen.
The STUCKHUB Solution
Rooted in 30+ years of primary experience and an OCR Level 5 (SpLD), our PNA is an academic evaluation designed specifically to inform teaching.

Capacity for SENCOs
By outsourcing the "Assess" phase to us, you receive a ready-to-use evidence base that can accompany formal applications, clearing your desk and your wider caseload.
The Depth of the PNA
Unlike a standard screening, each evaluation is a holistic academic assessment rooted in 30+ years of primary and SEN expertise:
Core Curriculum: Deep-dive into foundation NC English & Maths (KS1-KS2) attainment.
Cognitive Profile: Professional observation of memory, processing speed and sequencing.
SpLD Investigation: Analysis of phonological awareness, reading fluency and mathematical reasoning.
Functional Dynamics: Evaluation of focus endurance, motor control and learning behaviors.
Specialist Capacity We handle the intensive academic investigation and data analysis, delivering a "ready-to-action" report that clears the primary assessment from your desk. This provides the robust evidence base needed for your "Plan" and "Do" stages without adding to your administrative burden.
Supporting the Graduated Response
Informing the Statutory Process The PNA delivers the independent, specialist data required to refine school-based target setting and strengthen EHCNA applications. It ensures your statutory evidence is underpinned by objective, up-to-date investigation.
Scope of Practice
Educational, Not Clinical The STUCKHUB PNA is a specialist academic evaluation designed to identify learning barriers and pedagogical solutions. While it provides the robust evidence required for the Graduated Response and statutory requests, it is distinct from clinical medical diagnoses or psychological assessments.
Our Focus: Identifying the instructional roadmap and specialist teaching targets to ensure the pupil makes immediate progress.
Professional Note: While a medical diagnosis identifies a condition, the STUCKHUB PNA identifies the pedagogical solution. It is an academic investigation into learning barriers, providing the instructional roadmap required for the Graduated Response.
